Synopsis

We follow Wilson, once a respected security guard, who saw his life fall apart after five fateful hits. An intense, human, and deeply Brazilian saga about the true cost of redemption.

Wilson, known as Nelo Carioca, was an ordinary man—a hard worker, a devoted father, a respected figure in the community. Until the day five hits of crack changed everything. Chemical dependency dragged him into an abyss of loss: his job, his home, his family, his dignity.

On the streets, amid alleys and shacks, Wilson navigates between survival and the memory of who he once was. Around him are characters like Letícia—the daughter who resists the passage of time and his absence—; Patrícia—the love who tries to rebuild what addiction destroyed—; Dona Conceição—a maternal figure on the margins—; and street companions like Edmilson, Valdeci, and Toninho, each carrying their own pain and logic of survival.

The narrative explores, with a human touch and without judgment, the social and emotional dynamics of chemical dependency in Brazil—revealing that behind every person living on the streets lies a whole story that deserves to be told.
